• Profile data — channel URLs, streaming platform handles
• Payment data — processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers
• Beta application data — name, email, channel URL, viewer counts, written responses
• Usage data — overlay configurations, stream sessions, tip transactions

We also collect automatically:

• Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
• Device information
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service
• To process payments and calculate fees
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
• To review beta applications and grant access
• To improve and develop new features
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:

• With service providers — Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Clerk (authentication)
• As required by law — when compelled by legal process
• With your consent — for any other purpose you explicitly agree to

4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we retain data for up to 90 days for legal and fraud-prevention purposes, then permanently delete it. Aggregate, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.

5. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (session tokens) and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not function correctly.

6. Third-Party Platforms

When you connect a streaming platform (Twitch, YouTube, etc.), you authorize StreamShiv to access data from that platform under its terms. Refer to each platform's privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted and logged. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us through the support page. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
